That saying we hear often around here, "If you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes" was never more true these last two days on the Klamath river with my client John, but he was rewarded, for his fish through it effort, with some great Steelhead ! John and I back trolled maglips and bait as well as casted rapalas all dipped in Pro-Cure Carpspit or Bloody Tuna scents. The bite was tough due to the crazy weather, the fish were biting but they were often short biting. This caused many fish to come undone after what looked and felt like a solid hook up. The Steelhead we took pics and videos of the hooks would fall right out without touching them. Crazy stuff but all good fun and just another epic adventure to add to the book.
