Rob Davies of Moraga has broke the spotted bass record of 5lbs 9.36 oz with a 61b 36oz spotted bass weighed in at the vistor cen1.er on 243-18. The trout bite continues to be good. Power-bait mice tails and night crawlers are having the most success. Bright colors like chartreuse, orange, spring green are producing the most success.

We planted 8,000 lbs. of Mt Lassens for the season opener 4400 lbs. went in at the Marina on Monday January 29th 3600 lbs. went in at the boat launch on Wednesday January 31st. Right now the Trout bite is on fire there have been a lot of limits being taken. Best bet is power-bait colors working best are Chartruese, Garlic, Orange, Corn Yellow.
