The fish were biting in the mud today. We fished on a rising river and once I made the baits big and bright enough we got bit. The fish have moved off of the salmon beds and can now be found in there winter retreats. Big bright yarn balls is what they wanted today and that's what we gave to them. We saw about a dozen half pounders and 3 nice adult steelhead on the beautiful klamath river. We picked up our first winter fish today and saw a coho get a long distance release. Winter steelhead season will be upon us soon and I can't wait, if you want to hear the drag peel you better book your trip soon I'm filling up fast. Book It
