Today I fished the Sacramento River in Redding with two of my great return clients! The morning bite was a tad slow, but as the day unfolded, we got into a bunch of really great wild rainbow trout. We back trolled plugs pretty much all day and had some violent take downs! This fishery will hold up through fall into winter before we get our dirty water from Shasta Lake in the Sac system.
