Fishing has improved somewhat. Bass hitting on crankbaits, swimbaits and even night crawlers up at the narrows in shallower water.

Catfish being caught off shore near Mackey point off of Mackeral. Panfish doing well off of crappie jigs with meal worms and redworms off shore near the store as well as near the Dam from boats.

WATER TEMPERATURE: 75 Terrible week for fishing. Many people had a good time with family fishing, catching several little ones but very few keepers. For those lucky enough crappie were biting on crappie nibbles on jig near the Dam. Bass have been scarce as well as bluegill and redear.
