Catfish more active this week on mackeral in the coves. Top water baits have been the go to for bass and doing well near the dam. Crappie, bluegill and redear have been slow this week still hitting on worms, jigs, powerbait and such.

Fishing over all has been slow. Bass tournament Friday July 7th was held at night and many anglers did well on prop baits and buzzbaits, as well as poppers. First place was 4 fish at 20Lbs.
