Lake Level: 315.0
Fish Plant: We did not plant any trout this week.
Fish Tales
Aaron Baba of El Sobrante caught a trout weighing 1.5 off the Handicapped dock at the visitor center using a mix of green and orange power-bait on 3-2-17.
Thomas Beutel of San Francisco caught 2 trout the weight of the largest was 2 lbs using mackerel in scow canyon on 3-3-17.
Bonnie Daley of San Francisco caught a trout no bait or location given on 3-3-17.
Justin and Cody West of American Canyon caught a 14lb catfish using worms at the Oaks on 3-4-17. Declan Casey of San Ramon caught a trout weighing 1.4 on 3-4-17 using power-bait salmon eggs.
Park Information
San Pablo Recreation area is open daily for the month of March from 6:30 — 6:00 p.m. The café will be open Thursday thru Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (CAFE CLOSED projected opening when the weather clears due to low attendance.)

San Pablo ReservoirTrout Fishing has continued to be very slow. Although I am hearing that the bite is starting to improve. I have no fish to report only hearsay from some of the regulars. There were no private boats out this weekend due to the launch closure.
