Lake has come down from 41% to 38% currently and has stabilized at this level as the flow going out has decreased to 30 CFS. Concrete slab for boat launch is still in the water. Launching boats should not be a problem, but soon the concrete pad will be out of the water. Kokanee fishing is done hear also as they have finished their spawn. Anglers should turn their attention to the Bow’s and Macks now as they are on the bite and beefing up for the winter months. Key areas have been outside the arms of Sagehen and the Little Truckee in about 15-25 feet of water for the Bow’s and 35-55 feet for the Macks. Minnow imitations representing food sources are best for these guys. Inflated crawlers can sometimes fool a Brown or Bow also if you prefer bank fishing followed by Eggs and maybe powerbait. For some big Macks look along the face of the Dam here as some will cruise along here picking of minnows and crayfish coming in and out of the rocks.
