Trout Fishing
Fishing has been very good the last few weeks. People are catching trout using various power baits , lures, mice tails, bobber beach, scow canyon , main rec, pines are all good areas to yield fish.
Lake Conditions
Lake Level: 312.2
Surface Temp : 65.9
Fish Plant: DFW planted 2,500 lbs of trout at the boat launch on 10-20-16. Mt lassen planted 1,000 lbs of trout at the Pines in a net for family fishing day on 10-21-16 0n 10-22-16 the remainder were released into the lake.
Fish Tales
Jeffery Thomsen of Manteca caught 2 rainbow trout using garlic chartreuse at the main rec on 10-20-16.
Bill Edrich of Fairfax caught 5 trout using mice tails and power eggs at bobber beach on 10-21-16.
Cheryl Fisher and Alandra of Oakland caught 8 trout at pink lady cove on 10-21-16.
Bill, Drew and Carlos of the Bay Area caught 15 trout using powerbait and mice tails at bobber beach oon 10-22-16.
Gerald Camacho of Vallejo caght 7 trout using mice tails on 10-22-16.
Adrain & Alisson of San Francisco caught 5 trout using power bait on 10-22-16.
Cody and Micheal Wilson of San Pablo caught 12 trout in scow canyon using spinners on 10-22-16.
Chris and Jon of San Francisco caught 10 trout using lures and power bait in scow canyon on 10-23-16.

Park Information
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is now open for the season with the hours during October being 6:30 am to 6:00 pm and boats needing to be off the water by 5:00 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks, drinks and tackle available.
