The hydropsyche caddis hatch is winding down, but keep your eyes open. These guys will really get the trout excited and looking up when they do come off. We are seeing increasing signs the fall run salmon are here and getting onto the redds. It's not the full-on egg bite….yet. Some of the varied hatches we have seen lately have been Grannom/Mother's Day caddis, baetis/BWO, small PMDs and midges. Bird's Nest, Sparkle Caddis Pupas, Cinnamon PooPahs, small Rubber Legs, Olive S&M's, Olive Flatulators and Peaches and Cream are all good flies right now.
