Today was one of those rare sunny winter days we all dream about and good fishing on the river made it even better. My clients Mark and Rand Logsdon of Roseville Ca had a good day going 6 for 8 on the Steelhead. Rand landed the big fish of the day a nice 20 plus inch 5 pound Buck while back trolling a Rebel Crawdad smeared with Pro Cure Crawdad Gel. The other Steelies were in the 1 to 21/2 pound class, and caught on Cd-5 Rapalas. We fished from the Irongate Hatchery to the Klamathon Bridge and saw a total of 6 boats out today. The River is in great shape and kicking out some nice Steelhead another near 10 pounder was landed today. In the last couple of months we have seen and landed more Steelhead near 10 pounds than we have in prior years.
