GENERAL CONDITIONS
The weather has been in the upper 70’s and 80’s with the water temperature reaching about 72 degrees. The water is crystal clear.
Please note boaters must be 100 feet away from the swim ropes, fish tube and the docks.
We encourage all anglers to please stop by our kiosk on the way out to report catches, stories, comments, and/or concerns.
CATFISH
The catfish bite is picking up. The best bait to use has been mackerel, chicken livers and sardines.
TROUT
The water temperature is heating up, so the trout have been diving to deeper water. Anglers are having success early in the morning using on rapalas, night crawlers, Kastmasters, and chartreuse Power Bait.
BASS
Bass are biting on swimbaits, but remember to release your bass back into the lake to keep the population up.
CATCHES REPORTED
Jon, of Patterson, caught and released 7 bass using senkos, while float tubing in the Arroyo.
Gabriel Rezendas, caught and released 5 bass in the Arroyo.
Zak Wilder caught and released 7 bass fishing in the Arroyo. Each bass weighed in at 4 pounds, and he hooked them on senkos.
