Trout Fishing
I did not see any trout come in this week. All though while standing on the shoreline a Bald Eagle dropped one right in front of one or our regulars Mike today 7-24-16.
Cat fishing
The catfish were biting in Scow Canyon this week with wax worms. You can also find them at the pines and the main rec.
Crappie
Crappie are biting down at the boat launch. And in Scow Canyon
Lake Conditions
Lake Level: 307.7
Surface Temp: 75.7 as of 2:32 on 7-24-16
Fish Plant: We did not plant any catfish this week.
Fish Tales
Jared Pagila of San Ramon caught catfish in at the main rec on 7-22-16 using shrimp.
Alex Hudson one of our employees found crappie again in scow canyon using spinners on 7-22-16.
Twan & Stacy Smith of Richmon caught 6 catfish using wax worms and red worms a stringer weighing 19 lbs while out in a boat on 7-24-16
Park Information
The San Pablo Reservoir Recreation Area is now open for the season with the hours during July being 6:00 am to 8:00 pm and boats needing to be off the water by 7:00 pm. The Boat Launch area is open 7 days a week with snacks, drinks and tackle available. The Café is open the hours are 9:00 to 3:00 closed on Mondays.
