The lake has be really warm and the trout bite is tough. If you plan on trout fishing make sure you are there early morning. You can always take your kids to White Pines Lake to catch Bluegill. They are very fun and ferocious fighters. It is a great way to start your child fishing. For trout, fishermen should try Berkley Garlic scented eggs, Garlic Power Bait, Salmon Egg Scented Power Bait, Grape Nymph Power, Bait Mice Tails and Corn Scented Power Bait using a floating sliding sinker rig. You can also float night crawlers off the bottom. Lure casters should try Panther Martin Spinners, Rooster Tails, Kastmasters, and Vibrax Bullet Fly spinners. Fly fishermen should try sparrow nymphs, woolly buggers, ants, blue wing olive, adams, and bead head nymphs. The lake is full and ready to fish. Enhance your bait and lures with scent.
