The bass bite has slowed some with the triple digit air temps we experienced last week. Flipping jigs on the grass edges has been the best bet for the largemouth. The panfish seemed to enjoy the warmer water, and both red ear and crappie were taking mini jigs fished on main lake points. Blue catfish also bit well, and mackerel soaked around rocky ares of the lake produced kitties to 20lbs. A handful of bluegill also showed around the docks north of the marina.
