The lake level is at 66% as of this morning.
Fishing is improving, but better yet, the catching is also improving! The bite seems to be starting around 11. Damsals are coming off on the West side and Hex hatch is starting in the early evening just off of Grizzly Camp Ground. Trolling with a Wee Dick Night Copper Red Head. Bank with rainbow power bait or nightcrawlers. If Bank fishing at Mallard the key is to cast way out.

Lake DavisFishing Report Lake level is at 69% full. Water temp has been in the low 50’s in the morning, rising to mid-50’s in the early afternoon. On Tuesday the good bite was from about noon to 2pm. Trolling: Needlefish in Metallic Perch or Red Dot Frog at about 6 feet in the early afternoon. Fly: midges under an indicator Bank, no report. The water is a bit murky from all the rain and runoff.
