The Largemouth Bass fishing is rated good on the San Joaquin River and points south. The Yamamoto Bass Tournament concluded with a 5 fish winning total of 33 pounds with the big fish going 10.05 pounds headquartered out of Russo’s Marina on Bethel Island.

Sacramento DeltaGood numbers of striped bass in the 22 to 24 inch category and smaller requiring some culling. Most of the action is on the Sacramento River at anchor tossing anchovies or shad. The trolling action has slowed down with very little to show for their efforts.
