The water clarity has turned around here, opening up big swimbait, and sight fishing opportunities for bass. Although no large fish were reported, anglers were able to score good numbers of 2lb. to 4lb. largemouth all over the lake. Red ear have been making their presence known in the marina area, and off the fishing docks in White Oak Red worms and mealworms fished under a bobber has been the key for the panfish. Crappie action has slowed, although some nice slabs were taken in White Oak on hair jig/nibble combos. Catfish available for those willing to target them. Cut mackerel, and packaged dough baits have been the top offerings for the kitties.
