The fishing is slow then hot. There have been some bigger fish biting including Rick Franklin who caught a 38 pounder on the 13th of April. The lake level has come up considerably recently. However, they are now pumping water out and down to LA. Drifting minnows is slow right now. Trolling by the dam or Portuguese cove has been productive.
