What a great week of fishing we had, which included 4 trout plants as well. The biggest Rainbow (6 lb. 12 oz.) was caught by Darin Ruth of Newcastle who trolled a Rapala Lure near the sand beach.

The biggest Catfish was caught by Kristen Dukes of Marysville and her whopper weighed 11 pounds!! She was fishing the east side of the lake with a grub.

Glory caught a stringer of trout with a 5 lb. 8 oz. beauty as her biggest one of the day using Powerbait.

Tisha Ponder & Frederick Tinsley caught 9 trout near Elmer's Cove on a worm/flasher combo ( biggest 3-3/4 lb.) Porter & David Radmond fished the same area from shore and each caught trout on yellow PBait.

Michael Garcia Jr. who grew up near here caught a 5 pound trout on PBait near the dam. The Tyndall Family and the Sanders Family caught lots of trout from shore on Green PBait.

John & Linda Cartwright camped here last week and caught trout every day, they ended up with a 5 lb. 4 oz. as their big one!! John said trolling 15' down worked best for them, trolling a flasher with a worm.

From all reports back to us, PowerBait is best from shore and flashers and worms are working best from a boat.

Just this morning Joe Warda from Yuba City limited out on trout from the beach and his 1st Cast of the morning netted him a huge trout weighing 5 lb. 4 oz.
