Starting last week, the spring trout planting program is in full swing at Collins Lake. There will be at least 2 private plants every week in March, April & May in addition to what DFW will plant. Some weeks will get 3 plants! Here is the link to see the latest trout planting schedule updated each week.

TODAY is a TROPHY TROUT plant day! We have been stocking every other week which consists of 1,800 lbs. of fish including some giant trophy sized ones! Our lake looks incredible, we are at 60% capacity already with more rain coming in the spring.
