Beautiful weekend weather-wise with plenty the anglers coming out to enjoy Lake Camanche!

Pardee Lake is up to 90%. The release from Pardee is back down to 11 c.s.f. as of 02/22/16 but with a week’s worth of heavier flows into Camanche our spill level went from 59.42′ last week to 58.27′. Great to see the lake rising again. The outflow from Lake Camanche has remained about was at 162 c.s.f. Boaters reported water temperatures to be between 54 & 58 degrees.

To date 31,500 lbs. of Mt. Lassen trout have been planted at Camanche. A total of 10,300 lbs. were planted into the pond and the rest into the lake. Next week’s plant will be 1,200 lbs. 600 lbs. to the pond and 600 lbs. to the north shore ramp.

Be sure to check back here or on Facebook for the update.

Well just when you think it’s all about trout…

The California Bass Federation had their Region 4 tournament here at North Shore on Sunday 2/1/16. I’m told that they had over 30 boats in their tournament.

Earl Quattlebaum took and posted the following picture from the CBF weigh-in on Facebook and said, “Each picture is a different set of fish had about 150 fish come through a lot of five and six pounders.”
