The San Lorenzo River and smaller streams in our area are finally showing good signs of life. After the recent rains improved the flow and color of our streams, anglers have been hooking up wild and hatchery steelhead with regularity. On Wednesday last week, a local fisherman reported hooking six steelies from the San Lorenzo River. Ernie Kinzli from Ernie's Casting Pond in Soquel reports one of his customers caught and released four steelhead on one of our smaller local streams this week.
