There are really not a lot of guys fishing the lake right now. We are currently 3.5 feet from being full. The water near the creeks is muddy but we do have clear water in the middle of the lake.

LARGEMOUTH BASS:
The Bass bite is OK right now. They are bitting swimbaits and jigs. Some anglers are having success fishing spoons out deep in the shad schools. This week we have heard of a 9 pounder and an 11 pounder being weighted. A little over a week ago it took 26.5 pounds to win the ABA tournament.

CRAPPIE:
The Crappie are biting really good. Please try to keep only large Crappie. The limit is 25 but this quite excessive. Take only what you need. The caught a poacher the other day with a massive amount of crappie.
