Fishing at Spicer is now limited to shore fishing or launching a kayak, float-tube, canoe or any lightweight watercraft. The bank is too muddy to launch any other boat. Bait fishermen should try using the NEW Garlic scented Power Eggs, Garlic Power Bait, Salmon Peach, Grape Nymph Power Bait, Salmon Egg Red Power Bait, Corn scented Power Bait, Gulp Eggs, Berkley Mice Tails, and nightcrawlers on a sliding sinker rig. Trollers that are able to launch should try Triple Teazers, Berkley Atomic Teazers, Needlefish, Rapala's, Cripplure, Acme Phoebe, and Thomas Fighting Fish, and Wedding Rings, and Mack's Trolling Flies behind your favorite dodger tipped with a nightcrawler, Berkley Gulp Nightcrawler, Berkley Grubs, and Berkley Power Wigglers. Use scents to enhance your trolling experience. Lure fishermen should try using the NEW Garlic and Anise scented Panther Martins, Mepps, and Johnson Splinter Spoons.

The 2015 fishing season will end on November 15.
