The weather hasn't heard that it's the middle of November, we're enjoying sunny, warm days at Lake Nacimiento. Today I took a young couple out fishing for a 1/2 day trip and the water was glass, all afternoon, until we left at dark. It felt at least 80 degrees and more like May than right around the corner from Thanksgiving.

We managed a few spotted bass and they came on drop-shot rigs fishing very shallow "flats", you can see them coming out into the lake. The fish are using the channel for security but are feeding on the flats in anywhere from 7-13' deep. We used 4 1/2" Roboworms in the "Salt River Craw" pattern.
