This fish was caught in the causeway at 30′ on a copper/orange speedy shiner covered in Pro-Cure Trout bait sauce at 2.8mph. Frank Earl Smith Jr. Shared on Facebook 5/5 and wrote, “Well we had a fun great fishing day at Lake Comanche. We caught a total of 7. 6 were rainbows and 1 lighting the biggest fish 6.25 lb my brother Robert caught that one.”

Nathan pulled in this 4.79 lb. trout from the pond on 4/20 using powerbait.

John Curry reeled in this 6.91 lb. monster trout from the south cove on 4/28. No bait was reported.

Another post to Gold Country Fishing Report Mju Mju wrote on 4/29, “Took the wife out fishing. Ended up with 3 in 3 hours of fishing at Camanche. Started off with this 6.2lb biggy. Main lake about 40 on the downriggers. See them jumping. Couldn’t get anything close to the surface to bite.”

Longtime resident of Camanche south shore, Don Swim brought in this 8.07 lb. kitty using chicken livers on 4/21.
