Discussions at the fish cleaning stations are that anglers are catching big catfish on both shores. The baits reported are anchovies, worms, chicken liver and sardines. Trout are still being pulled in out near the dam by dropping line down 40' to 50' where the water is still cold. Lake Camanche is still holding at 32% full with fluctuating releases from Pardee Lake. Camanche is currently releasing 347 cfs.
Weekly Weather

Lake Conditions
Lake Camanche's current elevation is 186.52.19ft. above sea level as of 10/22/14. Water temperature at the launch ramp is approximately 70 degrees and the lake is 32% full. The inflow from Lake Pardee is currently 350 c.s.f. and the outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 347 c.s.f. The flows into Camanche currently vary from 11 cfs to 800 cfs. This is because when they are generating electricity from Pardee the flow is increased from the baseline 11 cfs at this time they are turning on two of the three generating units periodically during the week. Each unit can deliver 400 cfs, thus the 11-800 cfs range.
