New Sea Angler has a great Salmon/Rockcod/Lingcod trip, catching 29 Salmon, 300 Rockfish & 16 Lings

Rick Powers called in with this report for the New Sea Angler. "The New Sea Angler had 31 anglers. They caught 29 Salmon to 30 lbs. while mooching off the Russian River. We also caught 300 Rockfish, full limits of Rockfish; along with 16 Lingcod to 15 lbs. Flat calm conditions with an excellent Salmon bite. Had we been able to land every fish we hooked, we would have had at least 50 Salmon. The mooching was good. The Rockfishing was excellent. And the Lingcod bit a little bit too. It was an excellent combo trip.

Rick Powers called in with this report for the New Sea Angler. "On Tuesday, July 23rd 44 Anglers caught 22 Salmon to 32 lbs., 34 Lingcod to 17 lbs. along with 440 Rockfish. The Salmon were caught mooching off Timber Cove, the Rockfish were caught off Salt Point. Fishing remains excellent and the weather was flat. New Sea Angler lands Slamon limits, 44 Salmon

Rick Powers called in with this report for the New Sea Angler. "The new Sea Angler had 22 limits of Salmon to 36 lbs., that's 44 Salmon. We were trolling north of Bodega Head just off the Russian River. The fishing was wide open and the average weight was about 18 lbs. Most of the fish were in the low 20's and quite a few in the 30's.
