Ice will be melting off both reservoirs in the coming weeks after which anglers will be able to fish for both trout and crappie. The docks will not be installed until all ice has melted at both reservoirs and Wolf Creek Reservoir is full enough to get the dock in without issues.

As the water warms, crappie will move into the shallows, especially around submerged vegetation, and those locations may be good places for anglers to target

Chickahominy Reservoir: There are some nice holdover trout in Chickahominy up to 20 inches
Gerber Reservoir: The reservoir is 67 percent full and should fill this year creating excellent opportunities for crappie
Upper Klamath Lake: Fishing has been fair

Krumbo Reservoir: Krumbo Reservoir is currently a little murky
Lake Of The Woods: The lake is dominated by stunted yellow perch
Lost River: Fishing for yellow perch is your best bet
Phillips Reservoir: About 40 percent full
