Success Lake fell to 33 percent of its storage capacity, and bass fishing was good last week. Anglers reported landing plenty of small grade largemouth with some bigger models in the mix. Senkos, finesse baits, and creature baits all worked for bites. Reaction baits took fish early and late in the day with anglers targeting the submerged trees. Crappie have been available for anglers willing to put in time locating school over structure. Small live minnows were the bait of choice for the panfish. Catfish anglers did well with chicken liver and dip bait.
