The lake remained at 8 percent of capacity, and bass fishing has been hit or miss. Some anglers pulled up numerous bass from deeper water while others struggled to keep the skunk off the boat. Most anglers reported finding biters in 15 to 30 feet of water with some schools even deeper. Drop shot, Ned rigs, jigs, and spoons have been good for a few bites. One angler reported fooling several fish on C-rigs with a very slow retrieve. Catfish angles used chicken liver, dip bait and cut baits for bites, and there were no reports available from crappie anglers.
