Most of the snow has melted in the Hat Creek valley, the highway is clear down to the 299 bridge at the county park. Not sure about the road down into the Powerhouse 2 Riffle area or down towards Lake Britton. With great weather in store this weekend you could have a banner day up there. During this time of year on cloudy days you can see some midges and Baetis hatching. When that does happen, look for fish to be sipping spinners in the mornings down on the flats. The Powerhouse Riffle will begin to see some larger fish stacking in, don't forget to use a Rubberlegs as this section regularly has Salmonfly larvae moving around in it.

Hot Flies:  TB Drowned Rusty Spinner, Rubberlegs, Sweet Pea Jigged Baetis, Pheasant Tails, Mercer's Missing Link, and Green Drakes
