Trolling has been the main method used for fishing at Spicer. Trollers should try using Wedding Rings, needlefish,cripplure, and triple teazers behind a dodger , Ford Fender or Luhr Jensen Cowbells tipped with a nightcrawler. The fish are around 30 feet. Try using scent on your trolling rig to enhance the bite. Bait casters should try Berkley Power Eggs, Berkley Power Bait Garlic Scent, Corn, Salmon Egg Peach, Berkley Mice Tails, and nightcrawlers. Use a sliding sinker rig to float your bait. Lure fishermen should try using Kastmasters, Panther Martin spinners, Rooster Tails, and Mepps spinners. Fly Fishermen should try woolly buggers, sparrow nymphs, ants, and bead head nymphs. CAUTION!! HOBART CREEK IS CLOSED TO FISHING UNTIL JULY 1ST.
