After two weeks of Sportmans Expos my Dad and I got a chance to fish the Klamath River. Yesterday, we fished for a couple of hours in the late afternoon and went for 4 for 6 on Steelhead/Trout. We backtrolled Rebel crawdads and (Shasta Tackle) Matrix Flee bitty plugs down to the Fishhook landing most of the fish just behind the restaurant. The water is very cold so backtrolling extra slow is the key to getting bit.
