I picked up my boat from Willie Drift boats yesterday and she looks great. After 9 years of service she got a well-deserved facelift. I had the inside, outside and trailer completely redone.  The inside now has new diamond plate flat floors and removable leaning braces for fly-fishing. The entire boat and trailer has been powder coated (silver ghost) and looks like a stealth fighter. We should be able to sneak up on the fish now HAHA!! Of course, what better excuse for getting out on the water, so I gathered up my Brother his son Eric, Conner and my Dad we fished the upper Klamath for a couple of hours. Dad and Lance caught a couple of nice Steelies on crawdad plugs. We did not stay out long as a cold weather front was blowing thru. It rained off an on yesterday and the wind blew in some freezing cold temps. Of course today it’s sunny but very cold. The river is in great shape and there are lots of hungry steelhead waiting to be caught so now is the time to get out.
