With this stretch being a Tailwater fishery it will serve those looking for their fix more so than the Big T tough conditions. The LT can be very productive during the winter months as long as there is access and as far as I know the road here has some difficult spots in it that will require 4 wheel drive. With recent rain this road has become more accessible but not for those inexperienced driving on rutted out roads! Trout here will be feeding on a steady diet of midges and baetis so have all stages of these bugs in your box. The rule of thumb here has been 5x to 7x depending on the situation. Good luck!

Current flows are decent and with a lot of ice and slush along most the river any fishing will be tough. If you do find some open water(fish will be in the deeper pools with some sort of flow) you'll be throwing midges and Baetis patterns.
