The salmon bit a lot better today but you wouldn't have been able to tell by looking in our fish box. Although we got them to bite we had trouble getting them in the boat. It took us until 11:00 to get the 14 salmon we needed for boat limits. Since rock fishing has been slow we decided to head in early and call it a half day.

I only had four passengers today due to some late cancellations. The ocean was very nice and the salmon bit like crazy. We needed one more for limits and we ended up hooking up a triple so we reeled them all up to the boat and netted the biggest one while releasing the other two. Today started off almost the same as yesterday with a very slow salmon bite. After spending a couple hours at this spot and only one fish on board i got a call from a commercial buddy who was a few miles away and said he was starting to get them pretty good.
