Today was a great day on Shasta Lake!  Beautiful weather and a fair bite overall put a few smiles on our clients faces.  Justin Thompson helped me fish one of two groups booked today and did a great job as always.  Justin found some good water temps early and got into a few nice trout.  After drawing a blank at my starting point, we made a move and got into a bite not long after.  I talked to a few other boats and just about all of them were into at least one good brown by afternoon.  Things are heating up and there are lots of nice browns available on Shasta right now.  When we get some warmer water, I think our catch numbers will increase.  April should be a good month to catch these big, shiny browns and rainbows.
