Lake Berryessa has stopped rising during the last 3 days. The lake is now at 11.6 feet below Glory Hole.


The lake has risen from 424.4 feet on 1/14/19 to 428.4 feet on 1/28 - 4 feet rise (48 inches) with 5.22 inches of rain from 1/14 to 1/27. (Note: 48" rise with 5.22" rain = 9.2" rise per inch of rain.)
The lake remains at a season total 16.94 inches of rain at Monticello Dam - higher than the rainfall on this date last year by 9.5 inches and higher than rainfall for all of last year by 2.05 inches.


Last year at this time the lake was at 431.04 feet, 8.96 feet below Glory Hole. The highest level last year was only 434.1 feet - 6.9 feet below Glory Hole.


Rainfall last year had only reached 7.44 inches by this date. Total rainfall last season was only 14.89 inches.

Since Tuesday, 1/15/19, Lake Berryessa has had 4.91 inches of rain at Monticello Dam for a season total 16.63 inches - higher than rainfall for all of last year by 1.74 inches already!
